I must have been living under a rock for the past month because I had no clue that Shag made this awesome piece for Walt Disney World's 40th.

Shag (or Josh Agle) has done a bunch of art for Disneyland, but this is the first time (that I can remember) that he has made something just for WDW!  If you want to buy this piece, sorry you're out of luck.  Only 300 were printed and sold out right away.  They have been selling on ebay for around $250.  Happy bidding!

  1. I love Shag's stuff; especially his Disneyland Map (which is my screensaver). Had no idea he had done this; thanks for sharing!

  2. Dave, I love the Disneyland map too! Shag was even at the event signing the prints so it's odd that it was not more widely known.

Maybe the WDW crowd has not been blown away by Shag yet...?

  3. Shag has more of a 50s/60s vibe; I think he fits in better with the DL collectors. I once asked him if he did his art by hand or computer; he said by hand. That really boggled my mind as his art is so flat and even some of the characters are repetitive.

  4. Sounds right about the DL crowd. The fact that he does it all by hand is even crazier in his newer non Disney work, he has so much going on!
